Kevin Durant in Negotiations with Besiktas of Turkey, "Exploring Possibilities" in Spain and Russia

As we enter mid-August, the Rumor mill is beginning to churn again. Players are seeing the reality of the lock-out, and the latest player to look at contact offers is the Thunder's own Kevin Durant. Right now he's looking at an offer from Turkish club Besiktas.

Marcin Gortat Signs With Spartak St. Petersburg, the Trickle Gets Bigger

The flight of players to Europe continues today with Marcin Gortat, as he joins Deron Williams, Nenad Krstic, and Sonny Weems in signing with a European club team for next season.

Serge Ibaka is Now a Spanish Citizen and Ready to Play for Spain in the 2011 Eurobasket

This is excellent news! The situation has absolutely NOTHING to do with the lockout, but rather Ibaka's desire to play for the Spanish national team. Again, this has nothing to do with European club team play, which starts this fall.

Kevin Durant Thinking About Going Overseas, Nate Robinson Wants to Play Football

Durant is exploring, but not saying anything about his destination. Meanwhile, Robinson is gunning for an NFL tryout.

Nenad Krstic Signs With CSKA Moscow, But is the Sky Falling?

Via NewsOK.com: Former Oklahoma City Thunder center Nenad Krstic, who was part of a trade with the Boston Celtics, has agreed to a two-year, $8.8-million deal to play for CSKA Moscow, according to a report by the Russian International News Agency. The move comes as no surprise, with the NBA headed toward an apparent lockout and Krstic, a native of Serbia, having already played pro ball extensively overseas.

Oklahoma City Thunder to Host Free Agent Workouts Tuesday and Wednesday

This off-season workout basically serves as a whose who of Thunder prospects, failed draft picks, guys who have seen spot time in the NBA, and relative unknowns. Why is this workout happening? Well, with the Summer League cancelled and the Collective Bargaining Agreement set to expire, teams have limited time to look at non-draft prospects before the pre-season begins, assuming the lockout lasts an extended period of time.

Robert Vaden Called Up to Oklahoma City Thunder to Fill 15th Man Spot

If you don't know who Robert Vaden is, I can't blame you. What most people don't know is that the thunder traded for Robert Vaden, a deep second round pick. He was a great scorer at UAB, and is most known for his three point shooting skills.

Kevin Durant Doubtful Friday Against the Hawks

Scott Brooks said that James Harden would start in Durant's place were he not able to go, and that it's a day-to-day injury. A starting lineup of Westbrook, Sefolosha, Harden, Ibaka, and Mohammed looks a little bit thin to me, but when you look at the bench, your worries dissipate.

Kendrick Perkins Will be Out Two to Three More Weeks

If you were hoping Kendrick Perkins would debut next Wednesday against Indiana, consider your hopes dashed. Though the Celtics said Perkins would be out only one week, the Thunder have much different standards when it comes to injuries, and have estimated his return to be in two to three weeks time.

Twitter Reactions from Kevin Durant, Nate Robinson, Nazr Mohammed and More

I'm not a big twitter guy, but it is interesting to drop in every once in a while and see what's going on. Kind of like when you're at a party and there's a beer pong contest going on in the next room, but you don't drink, so you walk into the room every hour and check the bracket.

Oklahoma City Thunder Trade Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic to the Boston Celtics for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson

January 28th, 2009. That's the last time the Thunder had a different starting lineup, not including injuries. On that date in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Desmond Mason suffered a season-ending knee injury, and Thabo Sefolosha took his place in the rotation, setting in stone a lineup that would survive for 756 days, or over two years. But today, things have finally changed.

Oklahoma City Thunder Trade D.J. White and Morris Peterson to the Charlotte Bobcats for Nazr Mohammed

This trade probably won't be remembered a couple of years down the line, and I'm sure there will be more than a few people arriving at the Ford Center on Sunday and wondering just who the heck Nazr Mohammed is. But, those who do know about this trade wonder whether it is a good thing.

Reported Thunder Trade Frenzy

Breaking News: New Jersey Nets are Out of the Carmelo Anthony Sweepstakes

Put this under the "surprise" category. Everyone thought the Nets and Nuggets were inches away from a deal, but high expectations on both sides has caused the deal to fall apart.

What a Nuggets-Nets-Pistons Trade Involving Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, and Rip Hamilton Would Mean for the Oklahoma City Thunder

Okay, I'm jumping the gun a bit here, but I just couldn't resist. It appears the Denver Nuggets, the New Jersey Nets, and the Detroit Pistons are ready to pull off a blockbuster deal, one that will finally end the Carmelo Anthony era in Denver. This one is a bit complicated, so hold on to your hats.

Larry Brown Out as Bobcats Coach After Thunder Loss

You always hate to see a man lose his job because of a loss to your team, but the end was inevitable for Larry Brown. After three years of coaching the Bobcats, Larry Brown has decided to step down in a "mutual" decision between him and team majority owner Michael Jordan.

The Suns Now Have Vince Carter, Pietrus, and Gortat; What Does it Mean for the Thunder?

The Phoenix Suns have lost 4 of their last 5 games and they're one game under .500. With the age of their team, they need to find a way to start winning, or give up and start rebuilding.

Clearing Up the Jeff Green Contract Situation

Earlier yesterday, it was announced that Jeff Green and the Thunder had broken off negotiations to extend his contract to play for the Thunder. This may look like bad news for some, but in my opinion, it's only bad news for Clay Bennett's wallet.

Thunder Sign Tulsa 66er Mustafa Shakur

Mustafa Shakur was signed by the Thunder, supposedly in place of Antonio Anderson. There's not a high chance of success, but he's worth a shot.

Breaking News: James Harden Out 2-4 Weeks With Hamstring Injury

James Harden is out 2-4 Weeks with a hamstring injury, and the Thunder are in quite a pickle to replace him.

Some Big Name Free Agents Still Out There

There are still some very big names available on the 2009 NBA Free Agent market. Whether or not it has something to do with the present state of the economy, we take a look at a few of the bigger names and ask, would you want to sign any of them?

Etan Thomas Trade Recap

The Thunder have acquired veteran center Etan Thomas from the Minnesota Timberwolves for veteran guards Damien Wilkins and Chucky Atkins. The Thunder will also receive two second round draft choices in the 2010 draft.

Pleading His Case: Serge Ibaka

The Oklahoma City Thunder finished out play for the Orlando Pro Summer league on Friday, and I came away with several thoughts. The three biggest things I walked away from the OPSL thinking were Russell Westbrook is already too good for Summer League, James Harden was a phenomenal choice that improved this team the instant his name was announced, and Serge Ibaka is pleading his case to cross the pond this year.

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: In Sam Presti We Trust (Thunder GM)

As we inch closer and closer to the 2009 NBA Draft, I thought it would be fitting to make very clear of one thing, In Sam Presti We Trust. The moves he's made since joining the organization have been cold and calculated as he attempts to completely rebuild this team, for the long haul, and from the ground up.

Free Agent Targets: Marcin Gortat?

Enter Marcin Gortat? Possibly, although he's probably not going to be that dominant center we're looking for to win a Championship. One thing is for sure, the Thunder should at least give him a look when the free agent market opens up this summer.

We've Evaluated Everyone...Who Should Stay? Who Should Go?

So now that we have the end of season evaluations out of the way, who stays, and who goes? We're going to make our pitch as to who should be on the Thunder roster come the start of the 2009-10 season, who shouldn't be, and why.
